I would like to find a reasonably priced bottomless or not portafilter for a pre millennium europiccola. Anyone have one they would be willing to part with?

Thanks for the link to OE. I was hoping to find a used one if possible. I will eventually break down and get a new one at OE if no one here has one that they would be willing to sell.

I'm not sure if you have a bottom'ed portafilter already, but if you do you can save a lot of money by getting a $10 hole saw bit, sticking it on your drill, and cutting out the bottom of your portafilter. Only takes a few minutes. Drawback is that you can't split shots anymore.

I do have a 2 inch hole saw which I used successfully to cut down an extra portafilter I had for my pre-millenium LP, don't need it anymore.  I will send it to you for $10 plus actual shipping...

It is a shame that this has to be done. Pavoni has a bottomless listed as an offering but none of the us distributors think it is worth carrying.

Ok, so how about a used portafilter in general that isn't bottomless. I hesitate to use a hole saw on my only portafilter, because if I mess it up that would mean no espresso until I found a replacement. Anyone have an old beat up portafilter with or without the handle for a a Pre Millenium Europiccola?
