I recently upgraded to a Vivaldi S1 so I don't need to keep the HX around anymore. I had gotten annoyed with refilling the tank in the Expobar as you'll fill it every day or every other day. I took matters into my own hands and put in a mini float kit and plumbed it in to my softwater line. Using all JG fittings and lines. I also put a hole in the bottom of the tray with another JG elbow for draining. So the machine is plumbed in and out but can still be used as just a tank if you don't have the plumbing options. machine also already has the Teflon 'group temp' limiter
I used this machine every day for the last 3 years. The Stainless is scratched some as one would expect and if I had food safe metal polish I'd clean it all up but since I don't expect some scratches on the normal wear areas like the cup tray and PF area. I also just did a total cleaning on it for the next owner so you won't get a dirty machine with who knows how many years worth of grime etc. I also just replaced the group gasket and shower screen. I pulled 3 doubles a day and backflushed every day. The inside bottom of the drip tray is rough due to the cafisa flushes and Citric Acid descaling, I would have used a cup had I known. A new drip tray is like $15 if it bothers you that much.
Machine comes with: 2 double baskets (ridgeless) 1 Single basket (paper weight, grinder cap) 1 Tripple basket (ridgeless) 1 Bottomless PF ( I cut the bottom off of so it's not like a factory perfect bottomless pf but it does the job perfectly) 1 45 degree down handle double spout PF 2 spare mini floats for the tank filler (spare parts) 1 solid backflush basket 2 hole steam tip (works great for 6oz milk) 4 'little' feet the 1/2 inch rubber feet that came stock with it as Expo stopped sending the tall feet 4 'big feet' which I made to lift the unit to a more comfortable height about 2.5 inches taller
I have a RB base (flat bottom) but am keeping the handle (I'd throw this in for $40 more) I'm located in Chandler and would love to pass this on to a local geek,

Hi, can you provide a few more pictures of where you installed the plumbed lines? Also what is the Teflon 'group temp" limiter that you mentioned? Would you consider shipping to Point Roberts Washington 98281?
No problem at all on the shipping (it does run $50 to $75 ish though)
is the float system inside the tank, the tank is the stock tank with a filler hole drilled to get the water in and an over flow system as well that would drain to the drip tray if the tank over filled. A regulator is still needed and not included ($35 from ChrisCoffee or the likes)
The Teflon limiter is actually a rong that goes inside the group head, it limits the amount of hot water getting to the group. Expo's run hot on the group unless this is done. Then it runs a bit cooler, about 20 degrees or so at the group if I remember right, it's not a huge deal if the limiter isn't there, just means a longer cooling flush.

Got some low, some even super low offers but nothing so far. If your interested make an offer. I have nearly $150 in additional 'stuff' on, in and for this machine. $475? reasonable?
I'm sort of interested but waiting on tax returns and the like, plus it would need to be shipped to Florida (zip code 33559).
It can be run off the tank right? And do you have a water softener in it, or can it take one? I would be running filtered city water, so I definitely would need to get a softener if you don't have one.
Any little quirks that the Pulsers have that I should know about?
It still has the tank in it. The Plumb in is basically a tank filler with an auto level. You can plug a little softener cartridge (CCS EPNW sell them though you need to keep up with those little softeners in order for them to work) or get a 10 inch cartridge system from the same place. I actually have a 10 inch cartridge and housing I'll throw in as well but it will increase the shipping size.
The only real quirk with the Expo's were the group would run way hot and require a longer flush to cool it down. That's what the Teflon 'restrictor' fixes. Priming the vibe pump can be tricky if it's run dry, I actually ended up blowing water into it while it was running and it primes right up. Shipping to FL is about $75.
The ideal set up for this is the water system I had. 2 canisters. 1 was the softener - resin rechargeable, and a 5 micron filter ($10 for 2 from Lowes or Home depot) to catch any resin that might get out of the softener cartridge. + $30 for a line regulator from CCS with a pressure gauge and just adjust it to about 10 psi. You just need enough pressure to put water in the tank.
Or you can pop off the cup tray and fill it from the top as normal. Depending on how many you make a day and how many flushes you might fill it once a day.
