Hi everyone,
As you can see from my stats, I'm currently using a Gaggia Classic, but I'm definitely in the market to purchase a more high-end machine. Here are a few specifics:
New or pre-owned: Pre-owned Price range: $1000-$1300 Finish: Stainless steel Age: <3 years PID preference: no preference Water wand: preferred but not required; no preference with respect to articulating and no-burn wands Reservoir or Plumb: Reservoir
Those are the basic parameters for what I'm looking for. Obviously nothing is hard and fast, and if anyone has a feature that seems relevant that I'm ignoring, I would be happy to have it mentioned.
Best, and thanks!
Aaron

Your post is 99% "advice wanted" and 1% "want to buy"... you posted in the wrong forum, it belongs in the regular discussion forum, not BST.
Your "what should I buy" question has dozens of threads on this forum, and 2 or 3 other forums too. All discussing this topic to death. No one has the answer you need... and everyone has an answer to give you. And you have absolutely no usable criteria... your "parameters" fit most pro-sumer HX machines ever made. Like going to a car lot and asking the car dealer what car you should buy - your parameters are... "must have 4 doors" and somewhere in the price range of $20-30K
Search - Read - Search - Read ... repeat.... then ask questions that have meaning and content if you still need to.

Aaron, while I agree to some extent that much of your posting belongs on a general espresso forum, I'll allow your posting here, IF you'll go back and edit it down to specifics, such as Price, stainless, hot water wand (which eliminates a fine machine, the NS Oscar, size, reservoir or plumb in. Re-edit your posting, and I'll remove mine when you're back up.
Hope you find a machine. Assuming you're looking for pre-owned, your price range is certainly doable.
