Hey there, I'm looking to purchase my first real grinder. I am gearing up for my first espresso setup. I'm thinking that the Preciso is the right grinder for me. I am looking to buy a Rancilio Silvia, Lelit, or Gaggia Classic. But I figure from my reading on here, that the grinder is going to be the most important part of the equation. Anyone have one used in Canada?
I would love to buy a used grinder and machine for $500 ish. If I can't do that, I will buy the grinder and wait it out. I mainly just drink espresso, no cappuccinos or lattes. I worked at a shop for a short while and they gave me great training, but I'm not expert yet. It is only one shop in my area that I enjoy the espresso... I am no expert, but I can tell that most places take no care in making the right shot. I just don't want to cheap out and then not like drinking the shot. That said, I don't think I need a $1500 machine and $2000 grinder yet. :)
Let me know what you have.
