I am selling my V1 Rancilio Silvia and doserless Rocky as a pair. I bought both brand new in late 2005 (manufacture tag on Silvia is 05/05) and have not had any issues with either. I have done regular maintenance on both and have modified the Silvia. I replaced the burrs on the Rocky about 2 years ago. Both are in great condition and show minimal wear. Some minor daily use type scratches on Silvia's drip tray and cup heater.
Mods to Silvia... Adjustable Expansion/Over Pressure Valve about 3 years ago. I was able to set it at 9 bar based on a portafilter with a pressure gauge. Flat head screw on the screen (photo available) also about 3 years ago. Auber PID installed about 2 1/2 years ago. Great for stable temp of the shots and more power on the steam.
All of these mods have vastly improve her performance and I have not had to perform any repairs on her since I bought her.
Reason for sale: ready to move up to a HX machine.
