I am not sure how I want to proceed with this, so I am open to suggestions or offers. My Oscar was leaking a bit around the boiler, so being the unskilled individual that I am, I proceeded to completely disassemble Oscar, all the way down to taking off the wire harness and removing every last screw.
I now have a large box of Oscar parts and I do not think I will be able to re assemble them in this lifetime. I would like to sell this either piecemeal or all together to someone who would be able to use them. I took my Dremel and sanded down the outside of the boiler and I do have a new gasket for the heating element that I purchased from espressoparts.com (still in the bag). I can send photos if you are interested. I have to put in a price, but I am wide open to offers.
I now have a Rancilio Silvia V3, if God smiles on me, I would trade the whole kit and kaboodle for a PID for Miss Silvia (if you can install it)...
If you want the whole kit and kaboodle, I will have to take time to wrap and box everything, so if your need is urgent let me know and I will jump right on it, otherwise, it will take me a day or so to package everything. If you want the whole lot, you would need to pay actual shipping charges or pick up in the Grand Ledge, Mi area.
