I'll bump this with a comment that especially for beginners, the Espro pitcher (in this case the 12oz) is pretty much guaranteed to get you some very nice micro foam.

I bought his 20oz and need help using with Isomac HX with stock 2 hole tip. ... I get micro foam using my bell shaped 24oz pitcher but not any using the Espro 20oz? I have read some posts about angling the tip, etc but not having any success... any suggestions or how-to with a 2 hole tip? thx!
