Posted Wed Mar 6, 2013, 2:18pm Subject: FS: Behmor 1600 SOLD
Roaster has been sold.
Have a Behmor 1600 for sale. Also comes with a few pounds of unused green beans (caf and decaf). Bought it as a refurb'd unit from the Chocolate Alchamey guy, has been flawless as a roaster. Never had a fire in the unit, but have had plenty of smoking chaff. Typically roast to Full City ++ or a little beyond, but am a 'play it safe' kind of guy and don't venture too far from the suggested 10-seconds into 2nd crack.
Comes with: - Behmor 1600 - 2 drums (large and small hole) - chaff collector (original, not newer lower profile one) - random assortment of leftover green beans
Asking $125 plus shipping. Will sell locally in Nashville for cheaper to save me time.
Listing Details Asking / Suggested Price: 125 Seller Name: Samuel Rainey Seller Location: Franklin, TN Sale Type: For Sale
Tried to send an email to you at samuel@laughingseven.com and it bounce back. I'm in Jackson, TN and would possibly be able to pick up. Can you email me (maybe some photos?) at tglodjo@gmail.com? Thanks.
I know I am down the pecking order here but I will take the Behmor off you at the asking price, plus actual shipping costs to Orlando, Fl. Also sent email to samuel@laughingseven.com but it bounced too. Email me at al_j_cunningham@yahoo.co.uk if others fall through.
How many batches have you done since getting it? What's your reason for selling? What kind of results have you had from roasting a full pound? Do you roast indoors or out? - is the behmor affected by ambient temp?
