Up for sale is my nearly brand new Mazzer Major. By nearly brand new, I mean it has seen such little use in the time that Ive had it, and the absolute pristine condition its in, if I didn't say it, you would think it was brand new out of the box yesterday. Bought it end of 2010, and most of 2011 and 2012 it saw very infrequent use.. now and then on a weekend, for a couple shots. It wasn't until December 2012 when I started using it again, so for the past 2-3months, Ive put a pound or two through it a week.
Mazzer Major- 83mm Flat Burr Titan Grinder. Mazzer's Flat Burr beast. I dont need to tell you that this is a top end grinder that would make anybody thrilled to own. Even from a Super Jolly, its a big step up in consistency and flavor. Its almost as fast as the Robur, chewing through 18grams in about 4 seconds. One of the best things about the Major? ZERO retention. There is literally NO coffee left in the burr chamber when you single dose, and if you run with a full hopper, its very quick to purge out and get back to the fresh ground coffee. The grinder works wonderfully in both "modes".. I personally prefered single dosing
It easily fits under standard hieght cabinets without the hopper, and there is even room for a NorPro canning funnel to use as makeshift hopper.. Or you can just add beans directly to the throat and place a tamper or small bowl over the opening. There is not a scratch or blemish to speak of. The Doser still polishes to a mirror finish, as does the grinds tray. The Hopper, Lid, and Doser lid are all included. Everything you get if you bought it brand new, including the owners manual and the standard mazzer red brush, are included.
Im just posting a standard picture from my old setup.. only difference now is I run without the hopper. IF you would like a full catalog of pictures, no problem, just let me know.
Im asking $800 or better offer. Im not going to let it go for nothing, but make me an offer and maybe we can work a deal. I will ship the grinder anywhere in the lower 48, shipping costs to be determined on a case by case basis Local Pickup is welcome I accept cash, or paypal. The link for my email is current. You can also just respond here.

Jeff, I am sure that will make someone a great grinder, I know you have "replaced" it with something that is surly it's equal! I am up to my neck in grinders so it will not be coming here but I will stand behind you and attest to anyone who cares to listen, about your stand up rep.

Rob, Wayne,
Really, thank you guys so much, I really appreciate hearing things like that. First, because its just plain nice to know Im part of a great community, and Second, because posts like that from two other Senior members surely look nice on a for sale post!
But really, Im just, almost giddy to hear you fellas say those things. The two of you are awesome, just awesome.
Oh Wayne, btw, I haven't replace her just yet.. Im still undecided on which grinder Ill be getting. Ive narrowed it down to a couple very similar choices, all Titan Conicals. Still deciding which actual grinder Ill be getting, but it'll definitlely be one of the 68/71mm conicals. And since Ive taken the Major off the counter for pictures, Ive left it off, and Im currently running my Baratza Vario until the new grinder graces my counter. Im getting antsy, but the Vario is great in the meantime, no doubt about that. --------
Click Here for the Photo Album on my flickr page. Ive taken a full Catalog of pictures should anyone be looking for more angles.. If you need anything more specific, let me know, but I think I pretty much took pictures of every possible thing on the grinder...
