Great pictures. Love the "Tin Man thing.
Please forgive my ignorance, but as this is the one switch model, I would assume, as there is a gauge there is also a p-stat?

Yours is a lovely machine.

Robert,

Having owned two of these I can answer that for you.  Yes, there is a p-stat in the base, and to adjust it you first need to break this white glue seal that the factory installs upon installation.  From there you simply turn the adjustment ring.  You'll need a Torx wrench to undo the one bolt that holds on the baseplate (accessible from underneath the drip tray).

I love the look of these machines, especially because Jack Haley was my wife's uncle.
I need another of these like another mortgage, but I'm tempted.
Just wish the steam arm had been made with a bayonet attachment, and don't think it would look good with a brass base.

The machine is a millenium LP Romantica pro with chrome plated parts, an earlier steamer to boiler attachment, a chrome plated steel (I think) base and the special tin hat.  Looks really great!
Maybe I could just find a tin hat to use with my LP romantica pro, not sure the colors would clash, though....
