This would be a pretty good deal for someone who wants to invest the money in a new boiler and has the skills to do the replacement. My Relax uses the same boiler, and it appears that machines of this vintage will develop leaks at the joint of the fittings and the boiler. My boiler gave out, and so I was debating the cost-effectiveness of a new boiler.
Isomac no longer makes the copper boiler (likely because of these failures). The replacement is stainless steel, and will likely last forever.
Replacement boilers are about $500 - see this part from Stefano's EspressoCare.
For me, it was worth not buying the boiler and saving the money for an upgrade instead. But, for someone looking to move into a HX E61 machine, $500 investment should be pretty good.
Note that if you buy a used copper boiler, it will likely eventually develop the same problem.
