That is it! I have finally made up my mind and I decided that a Robur is what I need to fulfill my grinding desires! I know! I know! To much retention...Too big for the kitchen...
I really took the time to experiment with many grinders and think that this is really what will meet my needs and habits the best. So If you have a Robur in whatever condition I am willing to consider it.
I can almost guarantee you that you will never see one for 800.00! Perhaps if your lucky will find one for 1500. I just ordered one new and after tax and shipping I'm in it for 3000.00. What's more, you hardly see these used as most are happy with them. Those that are not end up selling them to coffee houses.
Thank you Andrew but UPS will be here tomorrow with the grinder. I guess if I knew about that one a bit earlier I would have purchased it. This is the last grinder I will ever buy so I see this purchase as a lifelong investment . . . it's the only way I can justify the expense for me. I absolutely love the Robur for its consistency, speed and general build quality.
