I ended up buying an Ambex roaster for home use and have this for sale including a hood.

I have a few spaces and I have cleaned the unit and replaced the temperature sensor. It does have some light scratches from use since it was used for a couple years by me and another couple prior to that. This is setup for propane and includes the regulator. All you need is a tank to start roasting.

Shipping will be determined based off buyers address.

Lowered price to $1600. For those that might be interested, this unit can be upgraded to the ADR profiling system.

That's a good price, I just had the ADR done on mine and I think it was a little over $400. How much would you sell the hood for? If you don't want to split I definitely understand.

I had a few people express interest. This is a hell of a bargain for the batch size, consistency and excellent support.

Does it still have the hood with it then? Is that a kind of smoke suppression system? How many roasts do you get out of a 5 gal propane bottle? Thanks.

A full 5 gallon propane tank will give you approx 150 roasts.  Here in Canada I can get a refilled tank for around $25 so that comes out to roughly $0.16 a roast.
