  1. I bought this rare and intriguing package a while ago, but now that my second baby is here I don't see myself being able to use it. The Piacere Classica looks to me to be a light duty commercial grade pourover machine, with all stainless steel construction, simple layout and lots of room inside the case (I dreamed of wiring in a rotary pump). Everything works, but the super quiet flowjet pump has a small leak from the top seal (see pics below). I couldn't decide whether to order new seals for the pump (they look made to be rebuilt in the field), or change pumps all together. But it has great steam power and was hardly used by the original owner. Includes two commercial portafilters. I'm asking $150 for this machine, and I'd think any Ulka vib pump could be wired in easily for less than $50 (there's another CG thread which showed one wired with a Fluid-o-tech pump. Everything works fine, but I think the brew pressure is suffering slightly from the slight leak. You can see a picture of a latte I made with it.

  2. The Piacere Americana is the same size as the espresso machine (also has a built in reservoir), and shares the same boiler so it also has crazy steam power. Works great and would be a great compliment to any high end single boiler machine, Gaggia Classic, Rancilio Silvia. Asking $200, or will sell everything to a CG member for $300.

I recommend messaging users directly (many have email addresses in profile) if you have a question like this, instead if bumping up old threads that are clearly marked "sold". Yes, these both sold.
