Hi All, Anybody have a good smaller grinder, they're looking to part with ? Preferably due to a recent upgrade. Will see pretty light duty, only 3-4 shots worth /day, but needs to be capable of consistent fine espresso on a home machine (NS Oscar). The wife would really prefer black, maybe chrome, and on the smaller/compact side. Looking to spend than $100-150 USD, incl shipping to 94539. Might stretch for a great deal on a better machine. Make me an offer. Thanks and Regards.
UPDATE: Taking at shot at the LaPavoni (per Jon's recommendations below) - Thanks to all for your input and offers - LCJ

Just a suggestion: Stretch the $150 up to $169 and you can get the LUX grinder delivered NEW with a warranty. With a stepped adjustment you may want to modify it for finer steps, or just adjust tamp to compensate. Here's another source for the LUX Grinder.
I have a LaPavoni PGC (see pic) and although I have complaints about the easily breakable plastic bits, it has very good burrs (exactly the same as the Lux and the i2) and a stepless adjustment. It does a fine job of grinding for espresso.
The Innova Conical i2 grinder also has the same burrs and a stepless adjustment (but that's a further stretch at $179).

Hi Jon, Thanks for the suggestion. I will certainly consider these options and, as soon as I have a bit more time, take a closer look at the reviews and discussions forums to better understand these machines. Your LaPAvoni sounds capable and, since I really won't need a heavy duty machine, I don't think I'll worry about the plastic parts breakage - I learned the hard way about this issue when taking my Oscar out of the box the first time - it works perfectly but plastic and heavy equipment sometimes don't mix well. Both the Lux and i2 appear to fit the bill but I'll look closer before jumping. Thanks again for the input. Best Regards, LCJ
