Hey guys,
I'm Ben and am I a professional barista and barista trainer in Michigan. I've been lurking for a while and decided it was time to start jumping in on the conversations. I'm by no means an expert, but it is my life. As much as I work with espresso and latte art, my real love is good ol' brewed coffee. I have close to a dozen different brewing methods I use, none of which include automatic drip :P

Hi, I have had a Gaggia Classic for about 6 weeks and lurked most of that time. Before the Gaggia, my experience was a Delonghi 701 for several years. The espresso tasted ok, or perhaps I had no taste. The Delonghi slowly broke down and finally prompted a change, lucky for me. I enjoy espresso and the forum. Fred

Hi!
I've always had interest for good coffee but never really took time to make it at home. For the last months though, I've been experimenting with my new Eva Solo and rediscovering my french press. I also took out an old melitta cone that I plan on using soon. After one bag of preground 49th parallel coffee, I decided that I wanted to use freshly ground coffee and bought an old Peugeot grinder (Model Ex) and a Trosser.
I enjoy espresso a lot too but keep it for cafes since we have very good ones in Montreal.

New here too. Used to the forum formula to get answers and share about a common passion (photography, wine).
My name is Patrick and I'm a technical designer. Father of 3, and quite happy of my familly life. I stated to drink coffee just before my daughter birth (who's 5 now) and pretty much enjoyed it since. Bought a Breville Cafe Roma 2 years ago, have served my needs in a ''ok way'', but would like to go a step further. Like wine, I know that coffee is a taste that evolves and the change of machine is one expression of it.

Hello Everyone, I'm new to this web-site but an old time coffee drinker. Retired Sales and Marketing rep, traveling the entire USA. Remeber the old fashion days of CB radio, well my handle was "MrCoffeeCup" my wife was "CoffeeMate" and the children were "Creme" and "Sugar".
Living in Orlando now, I do coffee daily and meet friends every Saturday for Coffee at and National bread, pastry, and sandwich shop.
I constantly strive to find a brand of Coffee that was originally out of California called "Hills Bros. Coffee". Unfortunatlly the new distributor doesn't really have a "retail store" sales force.
The distributor does have a web-site through which one can buy a "case" of coffee in differents sizes and blends, but I really don't wish to spend a minimum of $55.00+ everytime I need coffee. If anyone knows about Hills Bros in a retail supermarket setting in the greater Orlando area please feel free to say so.

Hello! I am a long-time-lurker who never joined up to post. I moved back out of the USA again recently, to Macau China, and my mission to find good coffee here motivated me to get active in the online coffee community. Since I cannot hang out at my favorite coffee shops back home anymore, I am happy that I can hang out here and still have a place to talk all things coffee.
I am currently obsessed with pulling shots on my Bezzera Strega, and roasting with my Quest M3 roaster. I am in the market to get a new grinder, but that has been the case since around 2005. I have all the standard brew devices covering every inch of my kitchen.
Glad to be here, and I look forward to getting to know more coffee geeks like myself.
