I didn't see anyone asking or wondering {:-'(, but I'm back after a 9 day absence.
Around midnight Sunday, October 12/08 I had a heart attack, although I didn't know it at the time. It just felt like a fairly mild pulled chest muscle but right at the solar plexus. On a scale of 1 - 10, they said this was a 4 to 5. It's been an experience to date, that's for sure! {:-O I won't make issue of it, but to make a long story short., I had to have a balloon angioplasty & then a stainless steel stent put in one of the 3 main coronary arteries.
I actually feel great, never better actually!, & I'm back ever presently online as always & have been back around here since noon, but marked as "unlisted", but decloaked now. {;-D
P.S. Len, I still haven't forgotton about the BBQ sauce either!

Well they say it's a gradual process of 4 - 6 weeks (not days!) to let the heart rebound/strengthen somewhat, of no stress, pacing yourself, watching the diet, no driving, no heavy lifting, etc., but I had to do that anyway the same day I was discharged from the hospital on Mon Oct 20th at 3:05pm. I had to drive to go to the bank & take out money for my meds prescription that had to be filled that day. I drove to the hospital & admitted myself on Mon Oct 13th at 3:00pm.
As for the coffee, I forgot to ask about it (but did mention I was in the coffee biz) & nothing was said back about it. I had my usual 2 cups today anyhoo, & not a problem.

Craig, I'm really glad to see that you are ok, but truly sorry to read that you had a heart attack.
I suggest you ask your doctor if you can drink coffee. Some of the multitudes of medicines that you must be taking now may be impacted by the caffeine, or other. Coffee is great but your health is worth much more.

That sucks Craig. I *was* wondering why you weren't posting. Glad you're here.
After countless obscene coffee, butter, cigarette, and beer binges... at 26y.o. my body is already telling me to offset my indulgence with spinach, fish-oil, exercise, a touch of moderation etc. Dunno if I could ever give up joe altogether either.
