I didn't see anyone asking or wondering {:-'(, but I'm back after a 9 day absence.
Around midnight Sunday, October 12/08 I had a heart attack, although I didn't know it at the time. It just felt like a fairly mild pulled chest muscle but right at the solar plexus. On a scale of 1 - 10, they said this was a 4 to 5. It's been an experience to date, that's for sure! {:-O I won't make issue of it, but to make a long story short., I had to have a balloon angioplasty & then a stainless steel stent put in one of the 3 main coronary arteries.
I actually feel great, never better actually!, & I'm back ever presently online as always & have been back around here since noon, but marked as "unlisted", but decloaked now. {;-D
P.S. Len, I still haven't forgotton about the BBQ sauce either!
I just got the news of the reason of your absense. My thoughts are with you for a speedy recovery.

Thanks to date everyone for your thoughts & well wishes for my health & recovery!
I don't mean to take light of the situation because I know how serious it was/is & can be, but I actually feel better *now* after this has happened to me., than I did before.., & I know that sounds absolutely ludicrous! What I mean to say is that in the past before this happened that when I always woke up, I pretty much always felt like I was tired & needed or wanted my 2 coffee's with my bagel or toast or whatever to get my day (kickstarted) in gear. I think with the coronary artery (1 of 3) slowly narrowing down with the plaque buildup (& you don't feel anything different or wrong inside of you either {the silent killer!}), that it's such a gradual decline that a person attributes it to just 'getting older'..
Kinda like the anology of your fuel injectors of your car or truck when they slowly build up with deposits over a long period of time, you don't feel the performance decline. Pop that can of fuel injector cleaner into the tank &/or in addition to a TB Throttle Body/intake manifold decarbonizer & man what a difference!

Craig that sounds very reasonable. A family member of mine recently went in for a triple bypass and had a quadruple. Before the operation he was short winded without energy. Now he's night and day a different person.
Its amazing how heart health can impact ones self feeling and attitudes. I'm glad your well my friend. Take care! {:-)

I'm glad to hear that he doing so much better now Tim! I should of also said in my post above that I only felt slightly winded & a bit of fist clench/tightness or a feeling like a bit of 'weight' pushing on my left pec chest muscle, 2 hrs after what I though was a pulled chest muscle. I've never ever had anything wrong in this dept before, so I just took 2 500 mg Acetaminophen tablets & went to bed after watching 2 hrs of TV. I wrongly assumed that if it was a heart attack, that it would of woke me up sometime in the middle of the night & then I'd really feel it or be sweating, shortness of breath, left arm numbness/tingling, pain in the lower jaw (the classic signs)..

Yes, so right you are & what an understatement Tim.

I suggest you ask your doctor if you can drink coffee. Some of the multitudes of medicines that you must be taking now may be impacted by the caffeine, or other.
I read all of my medication sheets & not a word about coffee/tea or caffiene there, even alcohol is ok., but of course in moderation. I phoned the doctor to be sure & it's not even an issue or a problem, so that's excellent!!{:-D
Coffee is great but your health is worth much more.

Craig...even in what is a serious situation ( for those of us who call you friend), I have to smile when I read all our posts with comments like "wow, sure hope you can still have coffee!"...etc..... LOL Figures we who are similarly addicted would respond in this manner. Truthfully, you'd be better off without the bagels (ultra high carb/sugar) and doing a little Pharmaceutical grade fish oil, or Krill oil. Awesome stuff for circulatory system and anti inflammation. I'll PM you with links. Rest, enjoy your blessing that this was sussed out in time. Good job getting yourself into the hospital. Too often, men ignore such stuff, figuring it will just "go-away." Rock On!!
