We picked up a dozen coffee mugs from a coffee budd who works with clay. They are gorgeous individual pieces that I am proud to gift others with as well as supports local arts and efforts to keep the money local.
For my Mum, we sent a donation to women's micro credit through our church's respected program, Episcopal Relief and Development. My Mother prefers that kind of gifting.
