I need to replace the pump switch on my Via Veneto. It's literally falling apart...
The 3 torx screws were removed from under the top case but I can't figure out how to remove the steam knob. I *think* I've pulled hard enough, feels like there's a mechanical lock.

I just tried pulling it off again with no success...
A diagram would be greatly appreciated. I could only find this one: http://www.service-manual.eu/manual.php?file=Saeco-578.pdf It shows something called 'Attacco Rapido' mounted axially with the knob. It's hard to tell what it really is. My machine is model SIN 013AX, bought in Canada.
