I could not find that "Moderator Control Panel/Dashboard" and if I had to go looking for it then I believe you missed my point.

Posted October 23, 2012 link

That's right, because you are not a moderator & it only appears to the moderators once signed in.

The point was to have a BUTTON that is on every Post that could be pushed/toggled to label that as a possible SPAM Post.

I get it!

Looking for another part of the Forum to report such violations seems pointless to me.

Yeah..

In support of the current setup...

I think it's a good idea for us to have to go somewhere else to report abuse, etc.  I say this because otherwise it's too easy for anyone to just click the button when they don't like something.  The extra step means people will have to think twice about reporting something.  Also, people who visit the board a lot will know exactly where the reporting thread is, so it will more likely be frequent/experienced posters doing the reporting. Well...that's just my $0.02!

I admit there's the danger of misuse. So maby it's not such a good idea after all.

A lot of forums have a "Report this post" button.  I think that's what they are looking for.

To all you "Moderators" here.  I suspect that whatever Country you are in and represent as being a citizen of, you would be pretty interested in contacting much higher authorities about the "Fake" document issue.  Just because it "originates in a foreign Country" does not mean it cannot be traced.  Who do you want coming over your borders?  People who go through the normal legal process or others who have covert action in mind?  It is way more than kids buying alcohol...
