Just kidding, if that had happend I would not be cursing my Carimlai Uno for being the temperature bouncing pretender that it is.
I sold a lot of brand name supermarket quality coffee in the seventies when I didn't actually have to know anything about coffee, began making my own espresso in the nineties, and now that I am middle-aged and my olfactory senses are starting to fade I have become more interested than ever in Espresso. I have to confess that I love the gear almost as much as the coffee (But not quite) and I'm happy to find a real live geek community replete with crusty characters and uber boffins as well as the normies. I am fortunate enough to live part time in Vancouver BC which is almost as coffee crazy as the Pacific Northwest so I have constant opportunity to buy different coffees that are very fresh.
I'm currently upgrading all my gear from whats shown on my profile. I had the same equipment for many many years and lately I've been seeing a huge quality change in my espresso just from a grinder change.
