So I went to our local ALDIs for cabbage today:  39 cents a head!  I bought 12 heads.  The cashier said I must be having one hell of a St. Pattys Day gathering.  I told her the heck with the Irish, it was for homemade Sauerkraut.

:P

I concur, the heck with the Irish! I'm Scottish, but wouldn't mind some sauerkraut. I've never heard of ALDI before, but apparently there's a couple pretty close. Did paying 39 a head make you feel like a thief? Can't imagine how anyone can make money on that.
