I see that some of us are junior memebers and some of us are senior members. How does that work? After being here for 6 mo. or so do you get promoted or was it like the first 100 members or something?

Hi Billy, A senior member is a registered member for at least three months with a screen name, password & user profile. It doesn't designate coffee experience or the frequency of participation in the forums. A junior member has less than 3 months. After 18 more days, you'll be a senior member.{;-) Cheers!
So is this something we apply for, or does someone somewhere take note of our status and automatically update us?
Since it has been three months for me, and I am still calling myself 'Junior', I am wondering if I forgot to do something (or worse...offended someone)?

Patience Grasshopper... you seem to forget that Feb is a short month. The Junior/Senior status is based on number of days, not on months. Give it a couple more days and you too shall soon be able to snatch the pebble from my hand!

It's entirely automated, Larry. It goes for 90 days, IIRC.
When we do the facelift, I'm thinking of doing three levels, plus a bonus fourth one with heaps of added bonuses for those who have been members for a year or longer... but that's a surprise :)
