Anyone have any good recipes or brands for fall flavors (e.g., pumpkin, etc., but better than that junk that Starbucks is peddling?)

www.cactuscreekcoffee.com

This company is the only local coffee roaster I have in my area, and from what I understand they use 3X more flavor than any other company, and all of their beans are roasted at a city roast. They have Pumpkin Spice that I know is popular for all coffee shops right now, but they have two other original flavors too, Autumn Delight and Fall Fantasy. I tried the autumn delight, it was good, like toasted chestnut and cinnamin. Haven't tried the Fall Fantasy, I'm sure it's just as good.

If you try it, let me know what you think, I have to go buy coffee before friday :D

I think any spices like cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and cloves work really well!

I've taken to making my own specialty simple syrups for the shop I'm working out of.
Base: 8 ounces of hot water in squeeze bottle, sugar 6/10ths

Vanilla bean - Base, split and add 2 vanilla bean pods.

Cubano Spice - Use sugar in the raw for the base and add 2 tbsp cayenne pepper

Indian Spice - Base, 2 crushed cardamom seeds, 10 crushed fennel seeds, pinch of ground anise.

More will come.
