As its the weekend I thought I would share these coffee cocktail recipes with you. Perfect for serving and parties and dinner parties, your guests will love them. Use your coffee machine to make the espresso base for these recipes.
South of the Border Coffee Cocktail A great coffee cocktail recipe for parties; Tequila mixed with gourmet espresso gives this cocktail a Mexican twist.
Ingredients – Makes 1 1 rijo42 espresso – cooled 50ml shot of Tequila 35ml shot of Brandy Juice of half a lime Slice of lime to garnish
Method Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled with ice Shake well for around 30 seconds Strain into a chilled Martini glass and garnish with the slice of lime
Volstead Reviver Coffee Cocktail Impress guests with the Volstead Reviver coffee cocktail. This sophisticated fusion of gourmet espresso and Bourbon whiskey is simply delicious.
Ingredients – Makes 1 2 shots rijo42 espresso – cooled 2 tbsp Bourbon Whiskey 1 tbsp Kahlua 1 tsp of Gomme flavour gourmet coffee syrup 3 coffee beans to garnish
Method Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker filled 2/3 full with ice Shake well for around 30 seconds Strain into a chilled Martini glass Garnish wish the 3 coffee beans and serve
