I think I might go and make this one. It's two of Mark's favourite ingredients. Coffee... and Banana. Together at last! At least you can be healthy with your coffee fix!
Combine frozen bananas, milk, yoghurt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a blender container. Cover and blend till smooth. To serve, pour into glasses. If desired, garnish with fresh banana slices and mint. Makes two 1½ cup servings.

Hmmm... this would be a nice twist on the fruit smoothies I was downing all last summer. Take a scoop of low fat or non-fat vanilla frozen yogurt, add a spoonful of simple syrup if you want an extra touch of sweetness (I'm now using the turnbinado "raw" sugar to make my simple syrup as it has much better flavor than white sugar), add whatever type of fruit you like and then pour over some ice cubes and mix in blender. I was always sparing on the bananas when making fruit smoothies as they tend to over power all the other flavors. I'm thinking that low-fat frozen coffee yogurt, a double shot of expresso and your banana, cinnamon and nutmeg ingredients might be a winner. Will tyry this and report back (but it will be a couple weeks as I'm of town yet again for work related matters).
