Hello Coffeegeek readers,
My name is Ron Chong, I am a part of the creative team working at an advertising agency named Grey in New York. Recently, my team and I have come up with an idea that requires the design skills of an artist who can create intricate design on the foam of Lattes. Since this is a hub for everything coffee, I was wondering if there are email contacts of American Latte Artists you can provide us, or if you are a Latte Artist yourself and know you have what it takes.
This project will deliver a great exposure for the artist on the international level, representing one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical brand. I hope you can lend us a hand and in return make a Latte Artist’s career.
If you are interested or know of somebody, please send me an email and pictures of his/her/your most impressive Latte Art to rchong@grey.com

While waiting for the highly-skilled but modest latte artists among the CoffeeGeek membership to come out of their shells and reveal themselves - we being so shy and all - you might try a YouTube search on the subject. There are some very impressive examples to give you a sense of just how far latte art has been taken, and hopefully there's enough information to track down or contact the artist or the barista's cafe.
Another idea is to come out to Portland for SCAA in April (if your schedule allows) where you will find masses of people who can recommend outstanding candidates.

Or New York in March, when CoffeeFest is hosting a Latte Art Championship. I've got a feeling that'll be post-deadline though. "Make a Latte Artist's career..." International renown for being able to garnish a beverage.
