New Pastry Shop and Specialty Coffeehouse opening soon in Columbia Heights Neighborhood of Washington DC looking for a Day Manager / Head Barista. Applicant must be friendly, have great customer service and communication skills, be able to work independently, multi-task and possess extensive experience in specialty coffee, preferably at a locally-owned coffeeshop. Job requires full time dedication, ability to play well with others and an interest in serving DC's best coffee, pastries, and seasonal fare. Applicants should also have experience training staff to brew coffee and pull espresso in a specialty coffee environment.

Duties to include: scheduling daytime front of house barista staff, doing inventory and ordering of coffee supplies, barista training, register close-out at the end of the day, development of the coffee program.
