Subject: CoffeeGeek's CoffeeKids Fundraiser - results and sponsor shoutout!

Well, we've more or less wrapped up the fundraiser this past year for CoffeeKids. We didn't have the holiday gift list this year (boo), so instead I came up with a schema that would, well, reduce our income quite a bit, but encourage current and new advertisers to donate big bucks to CoffeeKids. Basically, we gave away up to 60 days of top or side banner spots in return for $500 or $300 donations to CoffeeKids. And a lot of companies came through.

The result is $3,600 raised for CoffeeKids, plus even more from consumers who made direct donations.

A big shout out to the following companies who donated to CoffeeKids during this fundraiser:

Mother Earth Coffee Company - www.motherearthcoffeeco.com

Chris' Coffee Service - www.chriscoffee.com

Whole Latte Love - www.wholelattelove.com

Bunn Corporation - www.bunnomatic.com

The Daily Grind - www.thedailygrinders.com

1st in Coffee - www.1stincoffee.com

Zaccardi's - www.zaccardis.com

Coffee & Kitchen - www.coffee-makers-espresso-machines.com

A huge thanks to all of these companies. If you're considering things coffee related in the next few months, I hope you'll consider these companies and their efforts to support a great cause.

Mark
