We finally ran out of storage space next to the testing lab, and we spent all day today going through all the espresso machines, grinders, coffee makers, toys and accessories, and well, it's time to clear some of this out. Some of these items we bought ourselves. Some were for private testing. Some were for website testing.
Normally I do these kinds of things for a charity like CoffeeKids, but to be honest, I need more funds to continue working on the new CoffeeGeek build, and this is a way to raise some of the much needed monies.
Almost all the products that will be listed this week in the Buy and Sell forum have been cleaned and re-tested. I'll test them all and photograph them up before doing the listing. But as a sneak preview of what's coming up, it includes the following:
Espresso Machines There'll be six espresso machines for sale, most in mint condition, including a Krups Orchestro Dialog super auto, a near-mint 2003 vintage Rancilio Silvia that's barely been used; a KitchenAid Proline Espresso machine, a Gaggia, and several others. I also have a Solis Master Digital 5000 that needs a gasket repair, that I'll sell for $100. Auto Drip Coffee Makers We have a completely mint, never even opened Bosch Porsche design thermal coffee maker, as well as a couple of Capresso models. Again, if you want an early jump on these, email me at coffeekid at gmail.com with your questions and offers.
Grinders There's a lot. First, I'm selling my own well loved, well maintained, but now neglected Mazzer Mini with the two button switch, and I'm including a brand new, still in its wrapper set of burrs and a new fork. Then there's an Ibertal doserless conical burr grinder with a nice mechanical timer built in; there's also a Baratza Virtuoso, and I still have my Mazzer Super Joly available, but it has to be a local sale - shipping to the US is too difficult on that one. There's a few other surprises as well. Again, email me if you want to make an offer on these grinders.
Other Stuff I have two mint condition polished steel 6 cup moka pots - a Bialetti Class, and a GB Mio (it's gorgeous - looks like an Alessi product). a Freshroast coffee roaster (I think it's the 6 or 7 version), a Bialetti Mukka Express, some knock boxes, and lots of other items.
