Got quite a migraine from reading all the above.... eternal nitpicking! :D
Certainly do appreciate the efforts and progress you all have made on the BST forum!
Question on bumping BST listing: allowed? frowned on but allowed? only after 3 years? post additional picture to pretend there's something different (and actually lower the price in the process)?
Thanks!

Bumping a post is generally discouraged; but if it is after a month, I don't think anyone would mind. If bumping a post starts to be a problem, I'll bring in new rules regarding it.

So, I have followed this site off and on for over 4 years, bought a Silvia (especially after the V2 video found here, thanks) and a Mazzer Mini and Gene Cafe at the outset and want to sell my Silvia because I've upgraded to a Brewtus IV. I never posted, because I really didn't have much to add.
Now I have to wait an additional 3 months and come up with 9 more posts to follow the rules; I see the intent to prevent advantage taking, but the flip side is that these rules seem to encourage extraneous postings or too much delay in order to try to vet out imposters, making it cumbersome for others... unless the intent is also to limit the BST only to active CG contributors...

This reply has a little to do with "closing the barn door after the horses have run" but the exact rule is 10 posts OR (note the OR) be a senior member (three months membership). So by signing up four years ago you would now be a senior member regardless of the number of posts and able to sell at your leisure.

I understand the intent of the rule and really couldn't care less. However, application/enforcement seems maybe a bit arbitrary.
For instance currently allowed is a Faema 2gr 220v purchased as a project refurb machine. An obvious commercial class machine. No mention of ever being used for home use. Stated sale purpose is to make room to refurb another machine. Which implies another to refurb and sell.
Buying a used commercial machine. Refurbing. Selling it. Buying another to refurb. Sounds like a business venture to me, be it home business or otherwise.
