Preview: Completely agree.  Plus, I think the natural upgrade from a Mini is not to a Vario -- which is better, just not hugely so -- but to something with enough "in your face" impact to make the investment...

Preview: While I agree that, Rich, that the Baratza Vario is the minimum grinder that I generally recommend, if the budget is tight -- which, unless I've mis-interpreted, it is -- I'd say skip the grinder upgrade...
