Preview: Have you found that you can adjust the group heater to a higher temperature than the boiler and then use this to get a declining temp profile during brew?

Preview: I find that too fine a grind will prevent any flow when the lever is up.  Then without water in the piston, it comes down easily and without effect.  Not sure what "letting out some steam" accomplishes -...

Preview: My nearby Home Depot gets their readymix from a local source, so I'm sure it's just fine. And I don't want to buy a proper air ratchet with adjustable exhaust. That sounds like too much effort.

Preview: I used to use simple green and a green scrubbing pad (gently) to remove the built up and baked on coffee crud.  That and lining the chamber anywhere I could with shiny aluminum foil made a big difference...
