Preview: Really hard to beat the CC1 in this range, just offers too much for the $. Doesn't bother me where it's built, its the Gee overseas and BillC basically made the Gee a roided version lol. Separate...

Preview: I'm going to assume you have checked the Vacuum breaker isn't sticking closed, which can cause the exact situation you describe!!

Preview: I doubt there is anyone in this community that can pull a shot for exactly 26 seconds and get the exact same yield every time... use 26 seconds as your goal if you want, but that doesn't mean a 28 second...

Preview: Selling my used Baratza Preciso, loved it for espresso (Rancilio Silvia) , drip and all the way to French press. Would highly recommend it an amazing entry-level grinder or a very solid second grinder....
