Preview: As far as I know, the only grinder in that price range that even attempts to make multiple grinds is the Vario. Sell the Rocky for what you can get then use that money toward a better espresso grinder...

Preview: I have not heard of anyone doing it but I suppose it is OK. A timer is less expensive though and likely more dependable but it is your money and machine so do what you feel!

Preview: Because 'Redline' is a great product from an excellent shop, you have posed a good argument.  I have been home roasting for over 5 years now and my coffee is better than anything I've found...

Preview: I'm not sure you could accomplish your goal, but it would be fun trying. Why not pick up a new Behmor and give it a go? You might be surprised with the results.

Preview: I used to be very happy with a number of commercial roasters.  But now that I've been roasting for a couple of years I prefer my own product.  Roasting also happens to be one of my favourite hobbies!

Preview: Looks excellent! I had a similar setup a couple years ago with a George Foreman rotisserie oven and a similar drum. Nice even roasts, lots of fun.  Edit: found a pic.
