Thanks Paul - I'll be in again late November or December.
And thanks for letting me fool around (and I do mean 'fool') on the Bezzera at CafeBiz on Monday. You and Andrew give a huge amount of time and free information/expertise which is appreciated more than I can say. I learnt heaps. Oh, and the coffee, too!

Unfortunately, I can't make tomorrow, and will be unable to until Saturday arvo cricket starts move from 12:30 to 1pm (which should be in Nov).
On a separate note, I recall Andrew extolling the virtues of Gold Jersey A2 milk - a local retailer stocks the stuff and it is fantastic. However, it is $6 a pop for a 2L bottle. This is from an 'organic' food store where everyone is depressed and the staff wear aprons, so the price has to be through the roof.

I've heard of $4 from the wholesale side of things, so $6 isn't that unexpected.
Uh, is that run-of-the-mill A2, or the unhomogenised variety? If it's standard homogenised then $6 is quite steep.
Btw: one problem with the unhomogenised A2 is that it can be too good. If your coffee isn't damn good it'll get lost in the milk. But seeing milk that has actual cream floating ontop sure brings back memories. "..when I wer't lad.."

Paul
There were no mills that had been run - it was the unhomogenised version (creamy bits in the milk).
I have found that, even in the illy size cappuccino cups, the milk flavour (nice and sweet) can overpower the ristretto a bit. I find a better balance in the 130ml glasses I use.
The cream does take me back to the days when we would get 4 glass bottles of milk delivered, with the foil lids and numerous attempts to prevent the cats and magpies from prising the lids off to get at the cream.
