Heading up for the weekend and staying in William st in the city.  Any suggestions for a good latte?  I'm planning to catch the ferry over to Manly Saturday morning - doing the touristy thing, anywhere good there for brunch and caffiene fix.  Sunday hanging around Darling harbour.

Cheers
Vicki

actually, in Manly look for 'ground zero' - on the corse, walk towards the beach, turn left in between the two pubs closest to the beach and walk down past greenies food place and a few travel agencies/kebab shops. Ground Zero is reasonably good. If you make it up to Dee Why, near Woolworths, there's a little Danes espresso bar which would be my favourite on the northern beaches.

If you're going all the way to manly you gotta go a little further to mosman and visit russell at "the source", its sydney's best kept secret to great coffee, Address : Shop 6, 914 Military Road, Mosman NSW.

And if youve made it that far to "the source", you best visit benny at "the oven" he will take care of you im sure, Address: 89 Parraween St
Cremorne NSW 2090.

It's in my top 2 in Sydney. They use St Ali's, only one in NSW as far as I know.

if your at the kings cross end of william st, as opposed to the CBD end, you may want to walk up to 'the bunker' on liverpool st near the corner of victoria street. sydney CBD coffee shops worth scoping out are 'Mecca' cnr King St, York St. 'Velluto Nero' 259 Clarence Street (sth end of clarence)
