HI guys. Anyone here from the Philippines? Anyone here from the R.P. home-roasting coffee? I'm finding this a challenge. Firstly, purchasing a roaster - maybe except for the pan and popcorn popper - is proving itself difficult. Online vendors I've visited don't/won't/can't ship their wares to us. Although, going thru Johnny Air is an option, but expensive. Second, I can get local green beans and the occassional thai arabica, but the other origins, again can't be shipped. A bit frustrating 'no?
Any help, info, leads you can give - much appreciated.

I am from Manila. Based in Singapore. What kind of items are you looking for? I can get you a home roaster. I currently have a Hottop and my buddy has a Gene Cafe.

@Ross, @Sly, thanks for the post. I am now awaiting arrival of a Behmor1600. It's supposed to arrive via "balikbayan" box sometime this month. Thanks very much for the proposal to help. It'll come with 8lbs of green coffee sampler. Last December, I also received thru my cousin, an 8 lb sampler and 5lbs each of monkey and classic blend from sweet maria's.
I guess I have enough beans to work on and learn till the second half of the year. I will definitely get in touch with you guys when I look into getting more beans.
