A quick Google search didn't turn up any Singapore-based coffee forums.

So here I am wondering how many Singapore coffee geeks are lurking out there?

The scene is burgeoning and I'm curious to find out who's got setups at home!

I'm also looking for more local roasters to try out if you have any leads.

We have a Rancilio Silvia with Rocky, just starting out. I have attended one of the C-Platform courses conducted by Papa Palheta.

For beans the once I liked is Oriole's Yellow Bird (Bright) and espressoLAB's (Balanced) house blend.

I plotted some shops in Google maps, planning to go for a visit. http://preview.tinyurl.com/cgspaff

Wow, I think not many SG coffee geeks around.
About myself:
I just joined and hi anyways.
I am into Nes until very recently I found a credible alternative and augment my drinking pleasure.
I would like to get to know more about whats available in SG and also open/ share more espresso choices.
Cheers!

SG living abroad here...but I'm surprised there isn't more information on the local scene...Possibly because kopi is easier and cheaper =/

I'd like to know about local roasters as well. Since everything spoils so damn quickly in SG....what is everyone doing to keep their beans fresh?

I don't think local kopi is cheap nowadays. At 90ct a cup of kopi -o, I rather stay with my Nes alternative which is way better.
Local humidity and heat spoils the beans and grounds quick once opened. That's why I stick to capsules...

I'am curious did you get your Rancilio from Spinelli Singapore? And how much did you pay?
