What are your thoughts.
I notice with soooooo much air thru the espresso with a naked it hides the favour of a bad bean espresso. The airated espresso hits your tastebuds on a gentle manner so it doesnt hit it hard. So your tastebuds arent shock with favours. Does this mean it doesnt do a good bean blend any justice? or just gives you another dimension? 3D espresso???

Any thoughts???

I don't know about beans but when I ran outta decent coffee a couple of weeks back it seemed to consistently make some stale Lavazza decaf pre-ground look half decent and I think it even tasted better but then again maybe it was just the fact that I got a half decent crema out of it that surprised me.

We need to run the pour over a preheated spoon handle to remove some of the air to find out.

Project for this saturday - if you guys can stop laughing about the idea for long enough!

Cheers,

Luca

Hello to people from Maltitude,
I'm not really saying anything about this topic, but since I mention how much I wanted to try a naked portafilter expresso last time in this forum, I had always wanted come to Maltitude for one. however I still haven't got the chance yet!! It's been almost a week. I was at Maltitude on Tuesday afternoon, but because of my flu. I COULDN'T smell and taste!!! (so I just had a long black) I've been having hoping to be able to drop by today after uni and thinking that I'll "finally" taste one. Uni started at 9, got out at 5pm, ran from Melbourne uni to Maltitude carrying great hopes and excitement.... But the time I got there, you've already hung up the "close" sign. (sign...) I'll be working during the weekend, and the next possible time will have to be next Monday :(
Anyway, I'm a bit disappointed. But I'll come again! what time do you close on Saturday? maybe I could drop by after work...  :D
Sorry for taking up this forum everyone..
