Subject: Repairing a FrancisFrancis in Toronto

I bought a FrancisFrancis X1 espresso machine about 3 years ago and I am having problems with it.  The water flow seems to be way too slow.  I tried decalcifying it but that hasn't helped.  According to the Company, I need to send my machine to Illinois for repairs, but that will likely cost as much as the machine.  Does anyone know of a reputable shop in Toronto that will repair it for me?  Thanks for your help.

I know it's a different machine, but try Faema on Dupont, or the one on Dupont for repairs.  Most machines' internals are similar, so I'm sure they'll be able to fix the problem.

Shipping it off to Illinios seems risky.

Sorry, to clarify, the Faema on Davenport does the repairs.

The one on Dupont, I think, is merely the showroom.

Try Zuccarini imports on Davenport just east of Dufferin St.
I think they have the Francis Francis for Sale.
