Oh yes Adrian, dependable & very reproducible!, time after time!! That's the great thing about Malabar Gold. {;-D

CraigA, no offense was meant but I thought that 3 months from now (i.e., three month older beans), with home roasting technology, you may not be able to get exactly the same results.  I admit that I don't know enough (i.e., nothing) about home roasting and my assumption of batch to batch variation could be based on ignorance.  In any case, congratulations on your a**-kicking beans!!!  Any time I have access to 'em, you can count on my being there!

Hey Craig - wish I had known you had the Alp with you - would have been interested to see one.  On the subject of taking a look at interesting coffee equipment, I would be interested in seeing a SC/CO if somebody could bring one for a quick look see.

Craig/David:

Here is another pic of the SC/GG  in action. 1 lb of Venezuelan Lavado Fino Tachira that I got from Craig!

As I said earlier the GG's arent made anymore so you would have to go to ebay and get one, otherwise the Sunpentown Turbo oven is a bit less power (1300 as compared to the GG's 1470 watts), and you can get them at Amazon. It just means you would be roasting up a smaller batch. I think it could still do 1 lb.

Hey Craig:

I have been enjoying your MG all week.  It took me a while to dial in the mazzer but once I found its sweet spot we were off to the races.

Today Pam and I tried the MG in a press.  WOW, it was fantastic!!

Our thanks again to the folks at Birds and Beans, Craig, Mike, (the photographers who took the pictures), and all the geeks that contributed.

Pam and I really enjoyed ourselves and it was a nice break from a busy work week!!

Hey Mrs Toronto - are other Canuckleheads invited?  Westjet probably wont let me on with the Andreja, but I could bring the Presso.  4 1/2 hour flight for coffee geekery seems fairly justifiable :-)
