Hi guys. It's long. It's hard. It's standing up... and so will you. Caffè in Gamba is coming up with a traditional stand up counter at Place Ville-Marie. This small espresso bar will be located at PVM corner of Cathcart and University.... It's located inside something that is already existing, Laitue & Go, a salad bar, who decided it was time to serve good espressos. They are very concerned about the quality and freshness of their own product and therefore were looking for someone that has the same approach to coffee. The CiG Espresso Bar will open as of next Monday, on that same day as the regional will be held in Montreal. I'd love if coffeegeekers and baristas could crash by the place after the competition for an improvised jam, some drinks and to baptize properly this little place. Maude, who has been trained at JJ Bean Coffee, will be running the show down there. She's been with CiG for about two months already, getting familiar with our roasters and with Lady Faema e61. Talking roasters, CiG will be releasing two new roasters for the occasion, something already very classic to be drink in espresso and something a little more sweeth... perfect for cappuccino ;-)
Hope to see you there next Monday around 4-5 pm :-) JF

And grinding the coffee beans for The Lady Faema e61 will be a beautiful Anfim Super Caimano. GREAT STUFF! Congrats JF and good luck in this weekends Reigional Competition.

Thanks guys :-) I can't wait to reveal what I'm competing with. The stuff will be available at the coffee jam Monday after the comp at the CiG Espresso Bar (Place Ville-Marie corner Cathcart & University). Also, as Anthony proposed I'm willing to be serving my signature drink, and I invite other to do as well. Again, thanks for the kind words, JF
