We recently moved from Ottawa to Fredericton and upon our arrival began our search for fresh roasted coffee beans. Having purchased our coffee from Morala Trading in Ottawa for the past 3.5 years, our fear was that we would have difficulty finding relatively fresh roasted coffee beans in Fredericton. We've since discovered Jonnie Java Roasters (95 York Street) in Fredericton (tucked in the back of Paradise Imports). If you currently live in the area you likely know about this place but if not this may be of assistance to you.
Jon, the barista, was very welcoming and provided us with a "guided tour" of the various fresh roasted beans he carries (fresh roasted onsite - daily); not to mention providing us with a delicious machiatto on the house.
We can vouch for the Salsa Seduction blend as well as the Malawi (Specialty Arabica). Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!
