Cafe St-Henri is opening a new espresso bar downtown Montreal, The address is 301 rue Emery corner of St-Denis between St-Catherine and Ontario. This is their second location, the other one is on Notre-Dame near the Atwater Market.

Well, my hotel was about a 20 min walk from both Pikolo and Myriade, although they are in the opposite directions. This morning (Saturday) I set off early in the morning before my 8:30 meeting. I decided to go to Myriade since it was slightly closer. I got there at 7am, and was shocked to find they wouldn't open till 9am!! So I walked about 30 minutes over to Pikolo. Also not open till 9am. On week days they don't open till 8am. Doesn't anyone in Canada drink coffee in the morning? I did make it over to Pikolo at lunch time, and the espresso was quite good. Rob

More exploding coffee shops on the way ?
Five people have been murdered in Montreal in just over 48 hours.
Three men were shot dead and firefighters found two charred bodies in a building that police said was purposely set on fire. At least three of the victims were known to police.
