Hi everyone! I recently had my 12 month working visa to Canada approved which I intend to use starting October. I'll be heading to Toronto in the hopes of doing Barista work out there, currently gaining as much experience over this summer to help me! I would really appreciate if anyone could give me the names of good places to apply etc. Many Thanks everyone!

I own Detour Coffee roasters and we have some clients listed at detourcoffee.com. You could also enquire on other roasters websites for their wholesale customers: try Pilot Coffee or Social Coffee. There should also be a good amount of cafes listed on blogTO.com. Good luck. Kaelin

Kaelin gave you some good recommendations (always love Detour Coffee!).
If you are interested in exploring possibilities west of Toronto, check out Hamilton a city not far west of Toronto (in which Kaelin's Dundas place is located). There's Speakeasy Coffee. www speakeasycoffee.ca. The owner trains staff of restaurants in coffee service.
Also check out Hamilton's Red Hill Coffee Trade http://redhillcoffee.myshopify.com/. Red Hill supplies roasted beans to a number of retailers and may have good contacts for you. Look at the "Friends" page on their site.
