Hi guys,

Happy new year. I've been a long time lurker but rarely make a post, but hoping you can help me out.

Is there a site that I can order coffee beans from well-known roasters in north america? (like a one-stop shop). Prefer it to be shipping from Ontario, Canada so the shipping cost isn't absurd.

Thanks,
Rick

Hi Rick. I live in your neck of the woods, down the QEW Highway!

There are some third party vendors that sell beans from other roasters, but you run into the freshness issue. If you order from third party sites, the beans might be at or beyond their half life before they get to you. Although results may vary between retailers re-selling another roaster's beans.

But there are plenty of good options for top roasters in Canada.

Here are some respected Canadian roasters that ship their beans direct and very fresh. Some I've tried and others I haven't, but plan to when I get the chance. The first 3 on the list are in the Toronto area. The rest are in Western Canada. Also, Manic Coffee cafe in Toronto near College and Spadina sells Intelligentsia Black Cat beans. When I bought a bag of Black Cat Classic there, the beans were fresh (3 days post roast).

thanks for the reply.  I'm looking for a one-stop shop.  I've ordered from many of the roasters you mentioned and they have great coffees.
