Hey Kids,

I was in 2% Jazz the other day here in Victoria.

Sam has got the coolest machine ever.  Basically it is a the much coveted True Machine that was talked about a by David Schomer a couple of years ago...for some reason the company broke up or something and it goes under a new name...I am not sure what the new name is.

Anyway, it looks sweet.  It pre-infuses.  It is temperature stable to -+1 degree or something.  And it is crotch less baby.

It is going to be on my all time wish list for things I want...I just have to remember the name of the machine.

Anyway I used to love the machines in Cafe Palermo--just for the simplicity...but man this machine rules for the look and tech.

Coffee is pretty good too.

Wait until Sam gets the red LED in his machine. He also has plans to cut out a panel with the 2% Jazz logo... gotta love the Synessos.

Sammy J's place is definitely one of the funnest places in Victoria (or Canada for that matter) to get a properly pulled espresso shot (although I wish he'd tweak more smooth chocolate into his blend!).  The vibe is decidedly higher energy urban funk, and probably the only place in Victoria other than the shop I work at, where I know I won't get a dissappointing shot.  I really should go there more often on my days off.

Guess who gets to use the coolest machine in town 5 hours a day? ;-)

It's as sweet as it looks.

He sure does, he's in and out though. Usually works weekday mornings (except Tuesdays) but he's off in Vegas for the week and soon to be Asia in May. Jet setter extroirdinaire.

Nice site, I have been reading it for a while now. Get a Mac.

What browser are you using?
