Hello Everyone,

Fratello Coffee Co now has 2 Organic Espresso's available.  One is our God Father Espresso, the other is a beautiful dark roast, or Black Jack Organic.

If you are looking for organic, these are hard to beat.

Wow - Thanks Russ!

What retail locations do you have to recommend, in order to ensure we get the freshest possible roast of each?  I know I have had a hard time locating one in the past, but am very interested in trying the God Father Espresso!

You could always order it directly from us.  This is so new that very few cafes have this product.

Done deal... I'll call tomorrow, since I missed my deadline for another new batch I was about to try anyways....

Thanks for the heads up!

Russ- where are your price lists? Delivery charges? How may I order?

What's the roast with Godfather vs Northern Lights (which your site lists as lightest espresso) and what's in the blends? I don't really care about organic as much as if it's fair/direct/UTZ, and then I find I prefer a blend that's not all Latin American and med or med-dark (for the former, Bumpy's and Hines are what I'm looking for and for the latter it'd be Black Cat with some oil visible). The Good Earth espresso blend clogs my grinder, so that'd be too dark.

The Organics are also 90% Fairtrade.  There are compents of these blends that are not available in Fairtrade (only Organic).

If the Good Earth Blend is to dark, then I would suggest trying the God Father as the Black Jack is fairly dark.  If you call our order desk 265-2112 (or 1-800-465-7227) you will be able to get our price lists.  We recently removed that as well as some older information (thanks for the heads up earlier today furrycanuck.  We are removing a bunch of older information that is no longer accurate in today's market).

We have been pre-occupied on other projects and neglected our website for a few years now.

Are you looking for a North American or Italian style espresso?  Are you brewing milk based or straight espresso's?  For an all around good espresso, I would also try our Cafe Fratello Espresso.

I tried some of the GodFather yesterday and really enjoyed it in a latte ... now I need to try the beans and make a few shots, but so far I'm impressed!  And not that I didn't expect to be... just supporting Russ' recommendations.

Hi - this is my first post.

I am really glad I found this forum and so far I am intrigued to explore all the local blends that I never knew existed - thankyou.

My question (which is probably going to get me flamed but perhaps as this is my first post I will be given a little clemency) is:

Are any of these blends available in a ESE Pod ?

if not can someone recommend a source in which to order ESE pods that doesn't involve cross border or otherwise expensive shipping.

I personally don't know who is selling those in Canada.  Maybe try going to www.singleservecoffee.com.

Hello KeenBean, never heard back from you on the shots you were going to pull.  Which espresso was your favorite?
